A Remarkable Season Comes to a Close

Dear Friends of the Zambeze Delta,

As the sunsets grow softer and the floodplains quieten, we wrap up another unforgettable season at Zambeze Delta Safaris. This year has been one of success, conservation milestones, and incredible moments shared with guests from around the world. We want to thank each and every one of you who made this season exceptional.

Highlights From the Season

This year brought unforgettable hunts and sightings across Coutada 11:
• Powerful buffalo bull hunts
• Beautiful reedbuck and bushbuck hunts
• A rewarding Livingstone eland bull hunt
• Exciting warthog stalks
• Impressive buffalo herds filling the floodplains
• Stunning Nyala encounters
• Conservation stories and sightings of pangolin
• The rewarding challenge of hunting the Tiny Four

We also had the privilege of hosting Craig Boddington, sharing unforgettable moments in camp and on the floodplains including his successful warthog hunt this season.

Honouring Our Professional Hunters

A heartfelt thank you to our team of Professional Hunters whose dedication, experience, and long days in the field shaped every safari this season. Your commitment ensures ethical hunting, unforgettable experiences, and the continued protection of our wildlife.

Camp Life: Bush Dinners & Hospitality

Our ladies created unforgettable African Bush Dinners once again—exceptional meals served under starlit skies with the warmth and hospitality that makes Zambeze Delta Safaris feel like home. Their hard work and passion added so much magic to the season.

Wildlife Helicopters: Wings Over the Delta

A huge thank you to Wildlife Helicopters for transporting many guests in and out of camp, supporting logistics, and assisting with conservation operations throughout the season.

We also celebrated an outstanding Buff & Billfish component this year, with many guests extending their adventure to the waters of Vilanculos.

Community Impact: The Honey Project

We are incredibly proud of the continued success of our Zambeze Delta Community Honey Project. Locally produced honey harvested by community beekeepers is now sold on Mozambique’s islands and coastal lodges, supporting families and giving communities a sustainable reason to protect their forests. Every jar brings real change.
