The Mozambique hunting season is from 1 April through to 30 November.

 

NEEDED FOR MOZAMBIQUE

Visas

  •  Most nationalities can now obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA) in Mozambique.
  •  However, citizens of certain countries are required to apply for a visa in advance at their nearest Mozambique Embassy/Consulate.

 

You need to send us:

  1. A scanned color copy of your passport.
  2. A scanned color photograph of yourself.
  3. Proof of Ownership of your rifle – US Customs Form 4457
  4. Please note: Rifle permits cost $300/rifle/firearm.

 

HEALTH PRECAUTIONS

Mozambique is a Malaria area and clients must take precautions. It is suggested that you take ‘Malarone’ tablets – with your doctor’s approval.

 

CUSTOMS & IMMIGRATION

We have a private Agent meet you at Beira with all your relevant paperwork, a fee of $50 is to be paid in cash, directly to the agent.

Please bring your passport.

 

TRANSPORT/EXPORT OF TROPHIES

The cost of your safari excludes the packing, dipping and export of your trophies from Mozambique. Life Form Taxidermy will handle this on your behalf.

 

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

  • A 50% deposit on the daily rate or 50% of the total cost of a hunting package, is required to secure the booking.
  • The balance of package, daily rates & all license fees, are payable in full, 30 days prior to your safari.
  • Trophy & transport fees are to be paid on the last day in camp.
  • All payments are to be made in cash, certified bank draft or personal checks.
  • Daily rates are charged per night spent in camp.
  • License fees are not refundable should the trophy not be taken.
  • As packages are sold at a discounted rate, in the unlikely event of the package trophies not being taken, no portion of the package is refundable.

CANCELLATIONS

In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is liable to forfeiture if we are unable to contract another safari to replace your booking.
