Coutada 11 boasts one of the highest concentrations of sable antelope in Africa today. It’s not uncommon to encounter herds of over 100 individuals, and bachelor groups of up to ten bulls are frequently spotted. These magnificent animals can be found throughout the region, from the open pans to the edges of the floodplains.
According to our annual game surveys, we have a thriving population of over 2,500 sable. With a carefully managed and conservative harvest strategy, weve seen consistently impressive bulls, many showing excellent secondary horn growth. Each season, the overall quality of the herd continues to improve, ensuring a sustainable and rewarding experience for wildlife enthusiasts.
