COUTADA 11Coutada 11 has one of the highest concentrations of sable in Africa today. Herds often number over 100 and Batchelor herds of 10 bulls are not uncommon.
They are found on virtually every open pan and the fringes of the flood plain. Our annual game survey reveals we have in excess of 2500 sable.
A well-managed herd and conservative take-off, allows us to take good quality bulls showing lots of secondary growth. Every season the quality keeps getting a little better.
