Botswana : Introduction
The Kalahari is a semi desert and is reasonably flat with low scrub and grasses. The area is well known for big Kudu, Gemsbuck, Springbuck, Eland, early season Elephant Bulls and the feisty Leopard.
Resident in the Kalahari are the bushmen, undoubtably the best trackers in Africa. Hunting with a bushmen who is able to read the tracks like a book is an unforgettable experience.
We have two camps in the Kalahari, one being built out of brick and mortor and can accommodate 8 couples sharing all with en-suite. The second camp has 2 luxury chalets built out of brick and mortor and also has 4 East African style tents with beds and hot and cold running water en suite.
The area itself is roughly 150 000 acres in extent and is game fenced. There are also outer lying areas that are unfenced and hold great Kudu Bulls.
